Renaissance Festival inspired. Definitely lots for the imagination. This is a drawing of the cute faerie who was so gracious to pose for me specifically for this drawing. There will be more of these Renaissance inspired sketches coming.

Art Auction

I will be in an Art Auction the 28th of this month. This is a new experience for me as an artist and I am excited. There will be twenty-five local artists in total all at the auction. Neverending Crystals

 

 

 

 

These were probably my favorite subject to photograph at the Renaissance Festival. A woman had a shop filled with these hanging crystals of which she gave me permission to photograph. So lovely!

Fancy Feathers

 

My series of photographs from the Renaissance Festival continues. I found in a hat shop a lovely bundle of Peacock Feathers. They proved to be a very interesting and fun subject for taking pictures.

Getting back on the wagon. I missed posting a sketch for the past two weeks. The flu doesn't do a whole lot for inspiration and motivation.

Into the Land of Faeries and Enchantments

My journey in the world of Photography has taken me to the Renaissance Festival. The possibilities for creative shots is immense here. These first shots are of some of the more obvious subjects found at the festival. The posts to come in this series will be of some of the less obvious shots and maybe the most interesting.
